By sublime view and location, despite shortcomings, a topper !!!
Departemento Barrio El Laguito is part of the 24-story Edificio *Nuevo Conquistador* and is located on the 16th floor. The Edificio and apartment 1605 are unsuitable for physically handicapped people despite 4 lifts. The apartment offers a living room, open kitchen, bedroom, mini bathroom and a large balcony. The inventory of the living room includes two 2-seater sofa beds, a four person dining area and a flat screen TV with almost exclusively Spanish language broadcasts. The wifi is free and has a good signal. The inventory of the kitchen consists of a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, kettle and other small electrical equipment. There is no hot water and filtered water. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed, two large storage cupboards and a flat screen TV. The apartment is kept at temperature by two air conditioners. Cleaning and changing bed linen and towels is not part of the usual service. Although the apartment looks good at first sight, there is overdue maintenance like poor closing work, in windy weather rattling windows and balcony doors, non-working lighting and non-working kitchen equipment. The electric two-burner stove works, but urgently needs replacement. The location of the Edificio is very good and the offer of public transport and taxis frequent. A taxi ride to the Olimpica Supermarket (3 km) or Centro Historico (5 km) costs no more then COP 7000. A bus ride costs COP 2.300. For the larger buses a bus card has to be purchased with sufficient credit. Directly at and within a short distance are small shops, restaurants, a cyber cafe and a pharmacy. The distance to the nearest beach is 370 meters. For non-beach lovers there is a swimming pool on the 2nd floor and a children's pool. The absolute strongest point of no. 1605 is the view of the balcony as it is sitting in the room, which is sublime and makes you forget about the shortcomings. With some maintenance, the score should be 10 !!!

Very satisfied.
Beautiful structure and beautiful apartment. Spectacular view. Apartment located in a quiet area. All necessary services are within 2 steps of the apartment. The owner is a very nice and very helpful person. I recommend staying here because I was fine.

Close to the beach.

For the price we paid the apartment was basic to say the least. It was lacking basic info of the surrounding area, as well essentials such as hand towels, enough toilet paper for 4 days, hot water (for the price paid you would expect hot water). Upon departure the staff refused to refund the key deposit. There is no credit card payment option meaning your deposit is open to exchange rate fluctuation.
